Day-wise routine
Day 1 — Arrival in Gangtok
Transfer from NJP / Bagdogra, evening on MG Marg.
Day 2 — Gangtok local and Tsomgo
Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir excursion, returning for a Gangtok evening.
Day 3 — Gangtok to Lachen
Six hours north past Seven Sisters Falls, Naga Falls and the Chungthang confluence. Early dinner and rest to acclimatise.
Day 4 — Gurudongmar Lake, transfer to Lachung
Pre-dawn drive across the Thangu plateau to Gurudongmar Lake, then back through Chungthang to Lachung for the night.
Day 5 — Yumthang Valley and Zero Point
Morning in the Valley of Flowers with the hot springs, continuing to Yumesamdong (Zero Point) at 15,300 ft, then return to Gangtok.
Day 6 — Gangtok sightseeing
Rumtek Monastery, Do Drul Chorten, Tashi Viewpoint and the handicraft centre.
Day 7 — Departure
Drive down to NJP / Bagdogra.
