Day-wise routine
Day 1 — Arrive Phuentsholing
Border transfer and permit formalities, a relaxed evening at Zangtopelri Park before the mountain drive begins the next day.
Day 2 — Phuentsholing to Thimphu
Climb through Gedu and Chukha, check into a boutique Thimphu stay, evening walk to the illuminated Buddha Dordenma.
Day 3 — Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula
Photo stop among the 108 chortens at Dochula, then a Bhutanese farmhouse lunch with a hot-stone bath before checking into a riverside cottage in Punakha.
Day 4 — Punakha sightseeing and candlelight dinner
Chimi Lhakhang walk through mustard fields, Punakha Dzong, the suspension bridge, and a private candlelight dinner arranged by the Mo Chhu river.
Day 5 — Punakha to Paro, Tiger's Nest
Transfer to Paro, then a late-morning start up to Taktsang Monastery paced for two, followed by a quiet evening in town.
Day 6 — Departure
Descend to Phuentsholing for exit formalities and onward transfer to Bagdogra, NJP or Hasimara.
